Obama’s Phony Theology Offers Phony Financing on Everything

Obama’s Phony Theology Offers Phony Financing on Everything

Rick Santorum struck the right note with conservatives when he attacked Obama on his phony liberal theology. This is the red meat that conservatives have been waiting for. They want someone who will take the fight to the enemy, exposing the false religiosity of the liberal left.

“I just said that when you have a world view that elevates the Earth above man and says that, we can't take those [energy] resources because we're going to harm the Earth by things that frankly are just not scientifically proven- for example, that politicization of the whole global warming debate,” Santorum told liberal Grand Inquisitor Bob Scheiffer on CBS News’ Face the Music. “I mean, this is just all an attempt to centralize power and to give more power to the government.”

The pursuit of more government power to control our lives is part of the liberal dogma. And ideals that have made this country great are dying by inches as Obama consolidates more and more power over matters that used to be private concerns guaranteed under the Constitution. And he’s doing it by offering “free” financing for everything.

Private property, freedom of religion, freedom of commerce, habeas corpus, the right to bear arms, the right to be left alone, the right to pursue happiness, the right to life, all are under assault by the extreme catechism imposed by Obama and his Occupy America friends.
It’s not just that Obama champions ineffective ideas; Obama and his liberal friends worship at a different church than the rest of us do.

How else can you explain why Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. and North Carolina’s governor, Bev Perdue have both suggested that suspending the Constitution might be proper under the grave emergency that the country faces? A grave emergency is defined apparently as a country that won’t do whatever Obama wants.

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” said Perdue according to the Raleigh News & Observer. “I really hope that someone can agree with me on that.”

Well, she got at least one amen from Rep. Jackson: “I hope the president continues to exercise extraordinary constitutional means, based on the history of Congresses that have been in rebellion in the past,” Jackson told the Daily Caller.

I don’t know which Congress was in rebellion according to Jackson, but by the reckoning of the rest of us what Jackson calls rebellion, the rest of us call elections.

But elections and the Constitution are of little consequence when liberal ideas are at stake.

That’s the only explanation for the repeated violations of Obama’s oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

How else can you explain why Obama’s Health and Human Services secretary has vowed to get money for state-based health care exchanges even if Congress refuses to fund them? How else can you explain why Obama’s Department of Justice orchestrated the illegal sale of guns to Mexican drug traffickers in a sleazy attempt to curtail 2nd Amendment rights? How else can you explain a government that uses the Constitution as a tool to ensure everyone has the right to buy a home through the government, a right to finance a college education through the government and the right to finance healthcare, also- you guessed it- through the government?

Add in the subsidies, bailouts and government equity given to automakers and you’re looking at payments of over $3000 per month to some government-involved entity for your mortgage ($1500), your healthcare ($1100), your car ($300), and your student loan ($250). That comes out to 80 cents on every dollar of the average American pretax earnings. With government now costing about 40 cents on every dollar you earn, you add it all together and for the average American you’re in the hole every month to the federal government. You’re accumulating bad debt of 20 cents for every dollar you make.

With numbers like that, why work?

So, yes; Rick Santorum is right. There is a phony theology followed by liberals, especially Obama.

And to really figure it out, all you have to do is add up their phony math.
