Obama Appoints Radical Homosexual Activist to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

Obama Appoints Radical Homosexual Activist to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
Public Advocate Citizen's Alert:

Nominated back in September, Chai R. Feldblum was still awaiting Senate confirmation until this last Saturday when Obama bypassed normal procedure by making her one of 15 recess appointments.

Feldblum is a longtime homosexual rights activist having worked for the Human Rights Campaign, founded the Moral Values Project (a homosexual rights group), authored several books pushing the Homosexual Agenda and was the lead drafter of the Gay Bill of Special Rights (Employment Non-Discrimination Act).

Feldblum holds radical viewpoints on the rights of private businesses to operate as they fit. In an article entitled Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion, she states that:

“…once a religious person or institution enters the stream of commerce by operating an enterprise such as a doctor’s office, hospital, bookstore, hotel, treatment center and so on, I believe the enterprise must adhere to a norm of nondiscrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.”

It is alarming that Obama forced such a controversial appointment by not allowing the Senate a confirmation vote.

Making this radical homosexual activist an influential government administrator is clearly a payback to the Homosexual Lobby.

And with the Gay Bill of Special Rights coming up for a vote soon, this appointment poses very serious implications to private businesses and churches that wish to uphold their family and Christian values.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) enforces laws against workplace discrimination.

Combine this power with the Gay Bill of Special Rights, which creates "discrimination" laws for homosexuals, and the EEOC will be able to force Churches, daycares, private schools and businesses to hire homosexuals despite going against the beliefs of the owner.

And with the radical homosexual activist Feldblum as the new commissioner of the EEOC, is there any doubt we will see a tidal wave of radical homosexuals flood into once protected areas of our lives?

Due to this disregard for the beliefs of pro-family Americans, Obama’s recess appointment will go unchallenged for some time.

But once it comes up for a vote, Public Advocate will make sure Congress knows that you, as a pro-family American, do not approve of this appointment and will accept nothing less than a vote against Feldblum’s confirmation.

This is the same old "is homosexuality a behavior or is it an identity" arguement. Personally I believe it is a BEHAVIOR. According to the Bible it is a bad behavior or an abomination. Homosexuals CHOOSE to make it their identity. Personally it is a serious threat to my religious liberty (protected by the Constitution) to force people like myself to acknowledge and accept that homosexuality is an identity and not just a bad behavior, which is against the Bible's teachings. There are countless examples of people who were once straight becoming gay - choosing to live a gay lifestyle. There are also countless examples of the opposite case - people who once thought they were gay becoming straight. I am potentially being forced to just disregard these countless examples, as well as my religious beliefs, and this is just not right and that is why I will fight.
