Yep...you got it right! It seems to me like the rest of the world is closer to the right idea then we are. I was thinking just what you wrote when the media broke the story of an American citizen serving 8 years in a North Korean prison for being in the country illegally and was finally (after 2 years) allowed to contact his family.
Those countries are obviously way out of whack, but so are we in just the opposite direction. The feds need to get in gear and protect our borders...it's the most important job their charged with, and they've failed us miserably.
